Hi! I'm the baker behind Babu's Bakery, a family-owned home bakery in Aurora, Colorado. What started as a hobby in between writing IEPs as a Special Education Teacher, quickly turned into something more when I discovered just how much I loved baking - and that I was pretty good at it, too! For me, the kitchen is a place to experiment, get creative, and turn familiar favorites into something a little unexpected. I love playing with flavors, incorporating Indian-inspired influences, and dreaming up treats that are just as fun to make as they are to eat.

Everything at Babu's is made from scratch in small batches, with plenty of creativity and a whole lot of heart. And when I'm not experimenting with my next flavor combination, there's a good chance I'm baking with a horror movie playing in the background, because apparently, my ideal kitchen atmosphere involves the smell of freshly baked treats and a little on-screen mayhem.
